Default 410 AR upper.

Anyone try one of these yet? I love shotguns and 410 is a killer HD round in my opinion. Anyway has anyone tried one of these

Looks interesting, if it works.

I was thinking of getting one and build in it on a pistol lower and cutting down the barrel. I think they are 6 round or 7 round magazines. I'm thinking possibly a standard AR mag could work with mods similar to making 458 Socom work. Will report back when I pull the trigger on one.

The thing that scares me away is they're from an overseas company with a handful of guns that I've never heard of. Their "dealer locator" doesn't have an authorized dealer within 500 miles of my house. What happens if this thing is a dud? Where are you gonna get spare parts and mags or warranty service? I've seen enough AR shotgun uppers flop that I'm not gonna sign up to buy a gen 1, gen 2, or gen 3 from anybody - especially not some no name overseas shop.

they are italian.... way better than turkish i assume... if you are that attached to a 400 item you could always have a machine shop clone a part...its not like its unobtanium from uranus

ati has 15rd 410 ar mags in stock now, not sure if they interchangeable... my theory is with a few mods they should be able to function..

oh, and i plan to do the PGO shockwave brace idea as well. thats gonna be bad ass outta a 10-14" barrel! gonna have to mess with ports etc i bet, just gotta cut lil at a time?

Yeah looks like may be a Rifle length gas system based on the hand gaurd but no mention of what type of buffer it likes. Guess it's time to get my hands on one and start working. Hopefully it is mostly standard type AR stuff as far as the barrel nut and gas system.

Maybe in the box it’ll have instructions? I just don’t understand how companies can bring a product to “market” with out any marketing or information about what they are selling!!

I didnt. Was about to buy one on Friday but ended up getting a AR 10 instead (was such a deal couldn't pass it up). These don't seem to be going anywhere so maybe in a week or two. Or if I get some Christmas money. Definitely keep posted if you get one. Seems centerfiresystems.com hs the best prices on them.

if you put this on a registered SBR lower, does that make it an SBR or SBS?

Was going to ask the same. Not sure on the legality of putting it on my SBR lower and don't wanna get buttfucked in club fed if I make a wrong decision.

I would think it would need to be an SbS lower. That's why I was planning to go the "firearm" route with a brace.

I'm assuming it's a smooth bore so probably wouldn't work very well.

also, .410 bore is like....... .410". 45 colt goes in judges because judges bores are....... .45x"

so yes, you could prob do it, but it would prob hurt the whole time you were doing it

a real neat ref tool for these type of questions is saami.org. lotsa good free chamber drawings, shell drawings etc...

i got mine today, fired the only 2 rounds i had (2.5") they both fed and fired

my thoughts and observations:

-it is made in turkey, or the barrel at least
-i had to remove a burr on rear takedown pin lug to get it to mate up
-upper/bcg doesnt work with rugers AR-556 hammer. unsure on other manufs.
-mag doesnt activate bolt catch
-the "5rd" mag it shipped with from gunpro deals actually will hold 7-8. not sure if they downloaded for reliability or not
-im unsure about handguard swaps... the dring nut or whatever doesnt work like a normal AR dring

i recommend the free floated option, after 15rds total fired now the front sight block has loosened itself (set screw) and the handguards are not retained anymore..... freaking Tur(ds)ks cant engineer anything right! or would that be play test? i plan on shortening this, but wanted to shoot it and see how big i needed to make gas hole to keep it cycling

heres a slow mo of the action working with handguards removed.... someone said the upper barrel nut is the same as normal but im not sure... with that piston going around the d ring i assume you would have to mod whatever you tried to replace the other setup with...
