Whatever you're seeing, you won't be getting any.

It is a federal crime for Bud's ( or any gun shop ) to sell 7n6 to private individuals.

Not a bad price compared to what I've been seeing listed for private sales. Won't last long.

I guess we've forgotten that it was declared "armor piercing"?

It is illegal to sell "armor piercing handgun ammo" to unlicensed folks.

ATF, story I heard is someone submitted a 5.45x39 AR pistol for approval and ATF went the next step and declared 5.45x39 is pistol ammo, bam! 7n6 is now classified as armor piercing pistol ammo.

I've heard from several sources that NFA dealers can't sell 7N6 but private individuals can, but after 7N6 was banned there were still plenty of dealers selling it, so I'm not buying that. Cause I literally was still 'buying that' 7n6 online after it was banned. I'd think Bud's would have done their homework unless they're falsely selling Barnaul 5.45x39 as 7N6.

M855 was nearly banned in America a few years back. And the armor piercing rounds for the five seven are LE restricted, we can’t legally buy the ammo that makes that gun cool. The rest of the loads are hardly “armor penetrators”.

oh man... i remember that fiasco and the witch hunt....

so I see people still fail to comprehend that the ammo is still around and readily available.

i did a 30 second search on overpriced gunbroker, and here

(not my auction)

https://www.gunbroker.com/item/775391470

you have this ammo SHIPPED to your door for about 23 cents per round.

23 cents for military grade velocity independent tumbling, accurate, long-term packed ammunition that places any and ALL commercial ammo in the second league.

why are people still complaining about it being banned?

oh well...its corrosive and used to be 11 cents per round.

FWIW that was rhetorical, I was pretty sure the "pistol" in question was some Radom prototype that they made 3 of and never imported any to the 'States.

Its a fucking rifle round and I believe it was just banned from import. I imagine it wouldn't have been up on Bud's for weeks if it couldn't be sold

Yep banned as AP pistol ammo legal ..So legal for non FFL to sell to other non ffl as long as it is pre ban ..M855 is exmpted by wording from the OPA and the other AP ammo bans ..Not the same thing as the rifle import bans.

5.7 basic ammo is not AP though some is and then you go into a grey region

$27 to ship to me so $257 for 1080rds. Less than 24 cents a round. About the same as commercial cost. Thankfully I have plenty.

P.W arms had 37 million rounds of 7n6 in transit when the ban came, and some of it's been stuck in a Free trade zone in Reno ever since, they cant sell it to anyone.

They can sell it to LE agencies. Some Sheriff somewhere needs to make a lowball offer for the whole lot and make a fortune for his department re-selling it on Gunbroker.

But really if we are being honest the m855 round is exactly the same thing as 7n6 or anything else with a steel core that's currently banned...

They just don't have enough political clout to knock off the M855 just yet... but I'm sure one day its coming though. A temporary reprieve is really all it got.
When you can just make up bullshit legal definitions on a whim like the US government/ATF can then nothing is safe with the right administration.
The very next Democrats in office are going to go after M855 again and anything else then can. Trust in that.

Has anyone actually have an order fulfilled?

I've got about 2 crates left for my Saiga, and I'm thinking of getting more at some point.
