Default Daughters at the Range

Girls/Young Ladies often get overlooked in our community. So I was reminded by "She who I worship the ground she walks on" to bring this up. Or as I like to call her, the Money Pit!

Daughters at the Range Proves Girls Want to Learn About Firearms
A Girl & A Gun.
Daughters at the Range Proves Girls Want to Learn About Firearms by Nancy Keaton What happens when you decide to help young girls learn about firearm? You get an annual event that is exploding in popularity.

Cheers

Good call. Cause boys are being neutered by society.

My 10 year old daughter often goes with me to range. She has her own bolt action .22LR Ruger American and does very well at 75-100 yards. I am a very proud daddy!

Identity politics need to stay out of the hobby.

Nobody is baring people from going to the range or learning about firearms.

Eh, I'll just take my daughter to an Appleseed when she's old enough and teach her like I do my son now. Don't see the need for gender identity everything.

Default Gender Identification

Not the message here.

Women/Ladies/Girls/Females have a different bonding mechanism than men.
Ladies night out, Shopping, Girl talk, heck even going to the rest room together. Something they might be intimidated to do with men.? Might be more comfortable with a group of women.

Understanding and handling firearms is a great confidence builder too for younger people.

But hey anytime spent with the kids is a thumbs up!

MJ

PS: I was told if I posted about this, I would get brownies with walnuts.

My daughter has been shooting with me for years. I'd trust her with a gun over her mother any day. She's done an Appleseed, a tactical rifle class and a pistol steel challenge match with me. She's 17 and will be going off for mandatory liberal indoctrination in the Fall (University of Kentucky).

Congrats on the walnut brownies OP. Hope it's vanilla bean a la mode.

I've had my daughter shooting with me for as long as she could hold the gun up on her own. She's 15 now and can handle AKs, ARs, handguns, and even full auto just fine. She's always been a good shot and even better when she takes her time. My gf has 3 girls aged 9,12, and 17. I am teaching them how to shoot too. More and more girls are getting into shooting and I'm happy to see that.
