Default AK Firing pin protrusion gauge good for Galil?

Can you use the AK firing pin protrusion gauge to measure the Galil's acceptability of firing pin protrusion?

223 specs less protrusion than 7.62x39.

308 is about the same.

Thanks, I thought I'd need an "AK" specific type, but now I see Badger Ordnance, and others, make nice ones, and it obviously (now) doesn't need to be specific to any particular type bolt.
Thanks for the help,
(I should have done a little more research, so I don't look so stupid next time!!)
