Default PSA AK Side Folder

Decided to chance it and picked up one of the PSA AK GB2 side folder "blems". I think the only blem on this is the light marks on the stock.
Stock is solid, no wobble, and locks up tight.
Sights are perfectly straight.
Site drum is tight with no gap.
Handguards are tight, no wiggle.
Gas tube latch is tight (good).
Trigger is gritty (go figure) but that'll smooth out.
Center of bore seems to be centered in the barrel (yay!).
The carrier is the nice milled one, not the shitty ones from before.
Extractor spring is good and strong.
Toth Tool mags are a bit tight, bakelite's are a little tight, magpul works fine, rear loading romanian drums are tight. A few of my milsurp steel mags were super tight. Now, in all instances the tightness came from the mag release lever. I'm sure a quick run over with a file or even sandpaper will help that out.

I'll probably put a laser boresight through it tonight and see how well it lines up.

I think besides changing the pistol grip for a bakelite one, I don't think I'd change a thing about this AK so far.

That's a great looking rifle! I'll be interested to hear how it runs and shoots.

I couldn't help it. I threw on a khyber kustoms swiss cheese grater and a bakelite grip. Looks and feels better now. yay!
What's cool is that this thing has the full auto selector marking and detent.

If this whole Russian ammo thing blows over, this is next on my list.

Hit up sgammo, buy it cheap and stack it deep.
I grabbed another 1k of milspec wolf. I would have gotten more but had to buy some 9mm and 45 too...and it adds up.

I guess cheap is relative...$200/1k isn't really that cheap.

$629 shipped free, plus $20 local FFL fee. Cheaper to get a wasr, but I wanted this triangle folder. Just something different.

Default Broken stock.

Mine didn't even make it to the range....

Stock snapped off at the weld. Called CS and they were nice. Still no replacement stock though.

@codsack

Production on AK's is expected to ramp up in 2-3 weeks.

Thank you,
