Mine, a SLR-106U 5.56 has a 10.5" with a fake booster.
The newest version has a 8.5" with a real brake on the nose.

The SAM7K 7.62 version still has the 10.5" with a fake booster.
All three are Bulgarian chrome lined barrels.

The two 10.5" guns don't have threaded barrels or FSB.
I think the new 8.5" 5.56 has a threaded FSB.

Three months ago I wouldn't have know WTF I just said - LOL.

That M85 looks sa-weet. Is that booster US made or orig? Seeing these picks makes me count the days until I can move westward to a free state.

Until then I have to choose the lesser of two evils, a barrel extention or pistol format.

Not a big fan of the 7.62 recoil with an UF on your face, but it looks so good on the M85 and the reduced recoil makes it more bearable during extended fire....even if it is less bearable on the pocketbook now.

Now if they could just make those receivers to where you could attach a SF stock with minimal work...

Johnny5.56,
Very nice!
Does the folding stock lock to the side position with that butt pad installed? I was checking those pads out as well but was worried there would be folded position issues.

Enforcer22,

Damit islandfocus2! ^ I'm jealous because you're not standing in 3 1/2 feet of snow on April the 13th.

^ Great shirt, DT! Gotta snap a pic just like that ..

Finished her on Saturday:

85 Tula Krink (low serial number)

Loner42 re-profiled virgin full-length 16" East German CHF CL barrel with faux PBS-5 Shroud.
Repro US pistol grip and ferrule with Soviet vented handguard.
Built on a David Riggs' 74U LLC heat treated receiver, parked then baked Cerakote graphite black.
Tapco Single Hook G2 trigger group. She's a tack-driver and runs like a sewing machine.
Took me about two years to source all the parts with 992 compliance, US piston etc.
Wish we could SBR here in CA. Front heavy with the aluminum shroud.

CA Compliance: Locked folding stock, Empty mag body & Solar Tactical mag lock

Are you refering to the 4 piece Bulgarian Flash Hider and how it hides the flash? Here's a good vid of the different Flash Hiders vs. the Bulgarian 4 piece Flash Hider.

Thanks. Unfortunately, the folding stock does not lock to the side position with the recoil pad installed.

My SLR-106UR, awesome little rifle, I love the look of the triangle stock, but the polymer is a lot more comfortable at the range.
