Default Wpb lynx opinions

What are some opinions on the wbp lynx vs Draco? The intention would be to install a brace or folding brace for a truck gun.

I agree! Get the Lynx, it looks way better than the DRACO. Somehow, the DRACOís FS/GB combo never looked appealing to me thatís why I never got one.

Depends what you want. Here is how I see it (compared to my mini Draco):

Lynx:
-factory scope mount
-factory railed handguard
-not yet thoroughly tested but comes from a good manufacturer
-not threaded

Mini Draco
-threaded
-known to be reliable and long lasting
-threaded barrel
-no factory scope mount and railed hand guards are expensive

Although the lynx is not threaded, you can easily install the JMAC Customs “24mm Thread Conversion” and use 24mm muzzle devices.

Be sure to measure the front end before you purchase JMAC 24mm Thread Conversion. The size diameter options are .575 & .580.

I had the opportunity to get it but a Draco for a good price popped up and I got that instead and despite the lynx’s nice fit and finish the Draco is military and proven so I was already leaning that way anyways.

It’s cool, but not cool enough for me. I’d be more interested in their AKM rifles.

I am thinking about grabbing one and getting JBI Armory to throw a VZ58 stock on it. I keep going back and forth between grabbing one of these and Atlantic's new PM90 offerings. The PM90 would be simple stupid to SBR, but I like the Lynx offering a lot more.

Better solution. Get both. I did. I got the Draco first, and then the Lynx popped up. I had seriosly thought about getting a M92, and still might, but the Lynx seemed to be a better option.

As far as looks, I like the Lynx as well. Would need Robski to test though... hint hint lol.

For now I would throw a draco in my trunk if I were you.

We offer both the WBP Lynx and the Romy Draco pistols , the Lynx by far blows the Draco out of the water. For the money the Polish pistol offer so much more with optic Mount options quality of the build FB radom polish barrel and more.

The LYNX does looks a lot sexier than the DRACO. Atlantic saying that the LYNX blows the DRACO out of the water....... That's saying a lot! I don't own a DRACO or LYNX, but if I had to choose, I think I'd go for the LYNX.

Agreed. The Draco’s are not as cosmetically pleasing but they are extremely solid guns and to be honest, my Lynx is great and well built but the Draco has better accuracy and this includes the mini’s in my experience.
Finish, fit Lynx wins.
Accuracy goes to the Draco.
BOTH are excellent functioning guns. It’s damn close.

The only downside with the LYNX, it's not threaded. And if you want to thread it, you'll either:

1. Spend an additional $60.85 + shipping from CNCW to buy the 14x1 LH threading kit.

2. Pay someone (Gunsmith) to thread the front end for you.

Lynx blowing Draco out of the water? In terms of what? hasnt been out long enough to establish that claim in reliability.....accuracy? Someone above who owns both gives the nod to the Draco.....Ready to put optics on it? For the price difference between the two you can put any optics mount you want on the Draco

Im sure the overall fit and finish is better, the Draco / Wasr finish looks like bbq paint

Im an Atlantic fan, but id say that was an overstatement

Sub , I also own both and my Opinion is the Lynx is a better pistol value .Not an argument just my personal Opinion. The Lynx comes with 2 sets of hand guards and a optic mount gas tube set up plus the scope rail on the side . All of the Lynx come with the under folder trunion that changes with the Draco all of this for close the the same price as the Draco .The Draco has no optic mount options unless you purchase additional items. So the side rail mount is at least worth 30 bucks and the Optic mount gas tube from UltiMak runs around $99. The down side to the current Lynx is they are not threaded but this is done pretty easy. All of this being said we still like the Draco pistols and they have been steadfast performers for our clients and have long track record of reliability.

no argument, I guess blow out of water means something entirely different to me than a better value

Blow out of water to me is comparing a CG1 to a RAS47 lol

Sub, Yes you are correct maybe the Blow out of the water was a overstatement on my part . How about I re phrase that I feel that the Lynx is a better value in my mind but both pistols are very solid !

Does the Lynx have a virgin UF trunion or one that has the UF holes already machined in it?

Pivot hole, but no lucking lug holes.

I think Forbus has prints for the locations.

Lynx rifles have what kind of carrier and bolt ??
Advertisement is elusive on the descriptors where it clarifies just the barrel,
and trunnion as forged, and only declares bolt / carrier as "Machined"

Just asking.......as the ad is elusive in clarity here.
