My favorite one was the Nomad Wagon. I had a few of them. Wish I would have held on to them now.

It's strange how toys from decades ago are so much better than todays

I had a whole pile of Stompers when I was a kid. The regular trucks, the amphibious vehicles, the tanks, and I also had the pulling sled for the trucks. I loved them.

I used to take the front pinion gear out of some of them. They became two wheel drive, which made them a little faster. One time, I tried hooking a 9 volt battery to one, thinking it would go WAY faster. When I hooked the positive lead to the battery, the leads both instantly turned bright red, melting the wiring jacket into my fingers. Oops! My first valuable lesson in electricity and wiring.

Threw away mine when I found the box of them a few years ago. Most were pretty beat up, though. Had no idea people collected them.

In decent but played with shape they sell for $20 each

I collect Aurora T jet slot cars, occasionally stompers come across my path at auctions

No wonder your all spoiled rotten on this forum you had toy cars with batteries. When I was kid all we had was a block of wood with the wheels drawn on and we had to push them uphill both ways.

I had a few of these from when Burger King was putting them in their kids meals in the mid 80's.

They still make something pretty close to this now. This isn't battery powered it's inertia motor powered but damn to these things climb. They have gummy tires and magnets in the bottom so they will run up steel siding, refrigerators, etc. My kid got a few of these for christmas last year.

Stompers were the shit, probably my favorite childhood toy. I think it was mandatory to bring over all your Stompers anytime you went to a friends house

yeah ok, insecure about what exactly?

tell me I am wrong - guys that are obsessively into a hobby of collecting toys are likely to have never had a girlfriend

I think you just outed yourself as a 40 yr old virgin type that has a shit load of toys still like new in packaging..
