Default Upcoming Bulgarian 74 and Yugo stamped m70 advice wanted

Ok so Iím looking to build a stamped m70 Yugo, a sidefolder Bulgarian 74, and a fixed stock Bulgarian 74. As far as I know recreator and Childers offer heat treated with welded in rails 80% receivers. On the forum I see the Childers polish is close but not quite correct? How so?

It appears the Yugo 1.5 mm are the same from either place?

Also what is a good jig for drilling the FCG holes with my drill press? I would want to drill the Yugo M70 bulged trunnion 1.5 mm receiver and and Bulgarian 74ís.

Thanks

Don't know about Recreator, but I know Childers makes very good receivers.
Very good.

A number of posts said that Childers was off a bit on their polish 80% when using for bulgarian or other builds, trying to find out what people meant and if it’s really noticeable?

The 74blank is for the polish tantal so that means the dimple under the safety is a little low on the receiver. Iím pretty sure itís only cosmetic..

As far as I know, it’s cosmetic/aesthetic. If you want them to be as close to original as possible, I think ReCreator blanks are the ticket.
For myself, I just want a build that goes smooth and results in a functioning rifle.
