I knew about this years ago. However, there was no way I was gonna build one. The reasons why not have already been stated above.
NOW, I have a question: I am thinking about building a Yugo M85 parts kit into a Bullpup "PISTOL". Who knows whether this is legal?? I am NOT going to ask the BATF if it will be legal as the SCOTUS has said it is legal if the BATF lies to us. In a Bullpup Pistol the rear PG and trigger will be forward of the magazine, right where the forward PG would normally be. See the possible problem? |

First off: Holy unrelated thread bump, Batman!
As to your question: It's legal. The key phrase in the law is "intended to be fired from the shoulder" as a definition of a long gun, so if you build your bullpup without such intent . . There's been a couple of "bullpup pistol" projects shown here on AK Files in the past couple years . . |

You might want to search for "Bushmaster Arm Pistol". Not a very good weapon, but was a commercially sold bullpup pistol.

While one-off builds can be challenging and fun. Most home rolled bull pup types never seem to be any more efficient than other more simple alternatives. Often suffering from bad trigger pull, awkward firearm acquisition, odd sights etc.
Here is a easier method to attain quick acquisition and quick aiming at reasonable cost and no real mods. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwUM...ature=youtu.be |

My question was aimed at the "BULLPUP" configuration of the pistol.
I have never seen a Bullpup Pistol before, and I dang sure didn't want to" goof up" on the build. Sorry, if I stepped on any toes. |
