There is no such a thing as a mil-spec AR-10 lower or even upper for that matter. We never adopted it so their is no spec. That's why there is so many different .308 AR rifles today.

Shotty, really? I expect more from a firearms dealer.

How much trigger time have you guys had with one of these? I really want to jump in, but I haven't found anybody that has actually shot theirs and come back happy.

You guys saying they're very nice kinda feels like the dude behind the counter at Cabela's telling me the RAS47 is a great gun and worth the $700.

I wonder if they'll sell all the parts minus the receiver?
Go get an 80% & go to town!

I emailed them to ask about getting just their upper receiver and they said nope.

10 rd mags available now, but beware of these, the ejector or extractor edge distance is puny, and will likely break on many of these guns.... kinda expensive brick!! i want one, but i want a properly engineered, quality piece, or at least a fixeable one.... the minimal edge distance does not appear readily repairable... looks like they would have to keep swapping you bolt carriers out as you break them. DOH!

Ok fellers,

An AR-10 DPMS pattern upper will slide right in. I have changed out the buffer and buffer spring. Just waiting on some DPMS pattern magazines to come in and I will do a shooting video with it.

I was trying to research and heard a lot of hype about how a DPMS pattern uppers will work though I haven't seen any proof of this. Well, I ordered an upper and it did work. It actually has a tighter fit than the UTAS XTR-12 12GA upper.

Subscribe to my YouTube channel and I will post a shooting video with the new upper: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQm...MtA7VSqUUgfTOA

Here are some photos:

The thing that really stands out to me being a player in Saiga and Vepr shotguns and what I think maybe a major flaw with the XRT is going with an impingement gas system on a low gassing setup! I bet you can't cycle a lot of the cheaper rounds with this setup! I looked into this when designing my Chaos 12 but went with a Saiga style gas system that's adjustable. I like the AR looks but it's been ran in the ground a little too much for my taste. Here's what we're working on. If you want to see more go www.chaosus.com I also notice the XRT is dropping like a rock in price, that's never a good sign, MKA1919 was a total flop and went the same way, just saying!

Nevermind, I didn't realize you had a completely different gun. Hopefully it lasts longer than this one.

The XTR uses a piston gas system, not impingement

The finish is well done as far as I can tell and I think it will hold up nicely, but only time will tell!
I can testify to the outstanding reputation of Lanbo's Armory--I've purchased several firearms from them and as you suggests it's a great experience each and every time.

Cheers
