Thanks for that Link. I bought a couple of those M-22 1000 round packs at Walmart a few weeks ago. I just checked the lot numbers on the flap, and I'm good to go.
Thanks again. SHC

I am glad that you are save. No thanks needed. That's what we are here for. With members and others buying 22 up with a vacuum cleaner, things like this becomes ever so important.

Much obliged to you for the heads up. My father has bought thousands of .22 lr rounds in the last few months(mostly winchester). I'm sending him a link to the recall.

Wait, .22lr is actually still produced? All kidding aside, that sounds like a fun time if you have a .22 bolt gun.

i picked some of these up by mistake last month at a gun dealer up in vt. told me he couldn't send back busted boxes to the distributer so he counted out 100 rnds and put them in zip lock bags for 10.00 also said that with the shortage of 22 ammo around it only seemed right to keep these in circulation. i probably should avoid ammo like that and will definitely not buy 22 like that again. no way to tell the batch....but 7 out of 10 rnds exploded in the rifle.1st one my daughter got it in the face...next 6 were a test to see if it was the gun(brand new henry)definitely not the gun....other ammo ran perfect .thinking about jamming the rest of the bag up that guys ass and telling him to keep the 10.00
