David, the files are a fun place to post, most members are very cool people to deal with.
I am atempting to load some amazing pics, one of a dark tunnel with the mother load of ordnance in a cavern that was a jet bomb proof bunker during the cold war. I love my job. Thanks all. Sales@bowmanarms.com Bob Bowman |

We post most of the items on the vendor side, most on GUNBROKER, hopefully all will be listed in the GSA catalog in the near future.

Yes, the pallad are at TNW to be deactivated.
Small problem, ATF wants 4 SAW cuts, one in the barrel, 3 in the breech block. We asked ATF to demill the pallad just like EVERY other DD, a hole in the barrel and a pin at the breech. We hired mark barnes, a good gun attorney to ask for an alternative demill from ATF diagram. We shall see. They are all new, never used, with mounting brackets. We did find a few new, never issued [30ish] PKM barrels, import permit already approved.
We also have a couple dozen [as new] Serb PKM in the states, being cut as we speak. Too early for prices. NOTE: We could not find any SG-43 barrels in Europe, as they are all being converted to PKM barrels. I do not know how much work is involved, but we did confirm the modification. New, never issued SG43 barrels are in our Florida stock for a fraction of what a real PKM barrel will sell for. Apex has [inexpensive] drilled SG barrels to practice with? We DO HAVE an approved permit for 2-300 KGKT barrels that will go with our KGKT kits. These barrels appear to be good conversion candidates. sales@bowmanarms.com Thanks, bob bowman |

ATF instruction sheet, that comes with EVERY import document is very precise on where to cut, and how. The instructions have a little picture of an oxy-acetylene torch at the cut area, and 1/4" of material must be removed by the torch.
A plasma cutter simply is too clean of a cut. Sorry, bob bowman |

The barrels must be torch cut in two places, which makes them no longer a barrel, and the parts on the barrels are perfectly legal to import.
This is why ON MOST of our kits we import the torch cut barrels, much easier to reverse engineer a new barrel from the stubs, and the hang-on parts are included. sales@bowmanarms.com thanks, bob bowman |

Hmm,
I wonder if the barrel was made into a tall desk lamp With the power cord running from the base through the bore to the socket, if it could be imported as a lamp ![]() |

Well, that is still a problem.
Now you have entered into the "dual-use" category. If any single item that can be used by both civilian and military applications, State Department gets involved. This includes green army socks, armorers hammers, tires, you name it. Your lamp pole theory still needs import docs. Sorry. sales@bowmanarms.com bob |
