Pardon my ignorance, but please confirm if this has a standard akm rear trunnion? Or is it just an RPk trunnion with an akm style stock?

Standard AK trunnion so you can be flexible with customizing it

I think you were on the right track with the fixed stock V12.

Those RPK's really sound like a good idea too...

Why is it difficult to get SAM5s? Isn't a milled 5.56 already the current military rifle of the Bulgarian armed forces? Seems like it would be very simple to import.

Damn, I was a buyer on this probably 3 months ago. Swapped out the folding stock on my vepr 12 since then but would have happily sold it, put the funds towards this and pocketed the difference.

Also, another vote for
5.45 rpk with the correct folder
Bulgarian cr combo blocks

MOLOT 5.45,5.56 and 7.62 with lightweight 16" barrel and 24mm FSB. Cleaning rod would be nice too. Quit half assing these rifles and bring us what the market really wants. No more half measures. No more excuses.

Because they are still sitting on a shit ton of their SLR106 US export model. Gotta unload those first.

I love thick barrels, cleaning rod comes in package, but yea they can install it. They do not half assing them. They build solid, much better then Arsenals even.

You should hold back some inventory of Vepr FM's and convert them to full length RPK's since it looks like all our RPK dreams have been killed.
