Default M72 stock replacement compatibility?

Hi all, I just got my M72B1 kit assembled and, as lots of guys have realized, the comb on the stock is a bit high--hard to get a sight picture and can be rough on the face.

Wondering if anyone has suggestions for replacement options? I could sand it down, I suppose, but it's a nice, numbers-matching kit and I'd rather replace the stock and keep the original intact.

Would one of the Century "Warsaw" Yugo stocks fit? Or am I better off trying to find an original and sand that one down? Or any other options I'm not thinking of?

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

Buy yourself an extra and have fun with it or buy an M76 stock

Put yourself closer to the receiver and it won't be an issue. My nose is half an inch or so from the dust cover, and it is perfect for sight picture and comfort.

The century "warsaw" stocks are about the same as the M72 stock as far as I could tell. The "warsaw" stock was meant to be an improvement over the very high comb of the Npap stocks. The regular Npap stocks are very high. I got one to use on a kit I built and I had to sand the hell out of it to get it to a reasonable size.

Thanks for the info! I'm going to see if I can find a M76 stock or a beat M72 stock and sand it down...
