Let’s see if this releases before the ATF kills it with their redefinition to ban bump fire and rate increasing devices.

Oh heck yeah!

Do they have one yet for MP5's and clones? Kriss vector in .45 also could actually benefit from this mod and for me would be a dealmaker. Also I was thinking they need to make a bumpfire pistol brace

But back to the CZ -- heck yeah! Do you think it would be better in the 8" EVO or the new micro scorp that is coming out soon hopefully.

I'm sure these triggers have been around for subguns or PCCs for awhile and I just haven't noticed them, but hot dam they really do change things.

It's swings the pendulum back to operating systems and CHF barrels etc that can take serious high volume rapid rate of fire abuse.

I love the idea of a compact lil folding pistol braced hyper fired "sub-machine gun" that you can safely tote across enemy lines (FOPA). Assuming DOG ATF or Congress don't sweep in these trigger systems w the bump fire non-sense

Not sure about the MP5 and clones but guessing no because Iíve never seen anyone talking about them or YouTube videos

Iím thinking between the 2 they will probably work better on the 8Ē for controllability especially with a real muzzle brake or suppressor but in the micro would make a real badass combo. But will probably be most effective in the carbine. The binary triggers have been around for a while but only in ARís and I think an AK trigger is in the works

Thanks Boone. I think I may have answered my own question on the MP5 and Hks

This is from April 2017

Franklin Armory hasnít released a list of what it will and wonít fit but they do say it will fit most HK 91, 93, and MP5 variants and clones but some firearms may need additional fitting. Below is a list of specs from the press release.

* A trigger pull around 4.5 pounds.
* Ambidextrous Safety Selector.
* Safety Selector will fit in two and three position trigger housings.
* Will not work with Ambiidextrous Housings
* Trigger housing, ejector, ejector pin and ejector spring are not included.
* Will fit most HK 91, 93, & MP5 variants and clones
* Some firearms may require additional fitting
* MSRP $699.99

You all going to pay $500-$700 for a trigger when that's damn near the same price of the rifle? No judgement, just wondering... I wanted one, but I rather use that money to buy another rifle.

It is expensive. There really isn't any other alternative available though due to patents and bumpfire becoming illegal soon. So in 18 years or so when the patent is done we can finally expect the price on this type of thing to be reasonable.

I wouldn't buy one with a redefinition of machine gun on the horizon, especially not from a dealer.

In contrast I would buy one for that very same reason.

I have a couple BFS III's in ARs and they are fun. At first I thought they were a novelty for dumping mags (which is fun) but 2 and 4 round bursts could be pretty useful, especially in a 9mm subgun type of rig.

I was planning on preordering a BFS trigger but when I saw they aren't shipping until Sept I decided to hold off on ordering until they ship.

Hopefully the Micro Scorpions will be shipping by then. That'd be a sweet combo

If it happens expect the ATF to seize sales information and go after previous customers. Theyíve done it before. Iím unsure how effectively Franklin can protect customers information due to digital footprints held by 3rd parties, but Iíd be seriously worried about it and I hope they have plans in place if it comes to that.

Hell might as well post this here too, get it more exposure

Ok time for a how to:
Clear your rifle and remove the “lower receiver” portion from the rifle, discard rifle to nearest hobo in exchange for his liquor.
Depending on your scorpion you may have a “world legal” trigger pack, if you bought your gun in 2016-early 17 you probably have one. CZ did a promotion where they would send you a free “lower receiver” or you could have got 20% off their store. If you did neither of those it is probably too late now.
How to tell
A regular trigger housing should look like this on the inside

You can see the end of the screw is rounded over. This is a normal trigger housing screw. A world legal screw has a collar on the inside that is welded to the end of the screw. Unfortunately I don’t have pictures of it because I already fixed mine.

How to fix my world legal trigger:
2 ways to do this, the first is you buy a kit from HBI that has a special drill bit and a new screw, the idea is you’ll drill out the weld and remove the screw
The easier way-go so fastenal, get a pack of 10 M4-.70x10mm screws, or order it from CZ. Then drill out the head of the screw instead of the weld with a regular drill bit. The weld is ridiculously hard and will kill a regular bit.
This screw through this hole

Then unscrew the collar from the trigger housing with needle nose pliers.

Now from the start, here’s what you start with, your lower receiver with original trigger pack, new binary trigger pack, new safety, a tiny Allen wrench (don’t lose it or your screwed), and a couple of happy time stickers for your receiver markings.
What you’ll need to bring: 3mm Allen wrench, 1.5mm Allen wrench, blue loctite, spare grip screw (maybe). CZ is notorious for using screws made of soft metal so it is not unlikely you will strip out the head of the trigger housing screw, 2 is 1 yada yada.

Using a 1.5mm Allen wrench start by removing the screw in one of the safety selectors, FA calls it a “safety plug”, it doesn’t matter which one, I did the one on the right because it brok free easier. They are loctited so use caution and patience when removing so that you don’t break your Allen wrench. Once the screw is out, pull off the selector and push it through the other side of the receiver.

Next use a 3mm Allen wrench to remove the trigger housing screw, this is also loctited if it is a normal housing screw, if you have a welded screw remove via instructions up top. Once you have broke the loctite, invert the receiver as you unscrew and the OEM trigger should fall into your hand.

Now your left with an empty lower receiver, your trigger housing screw may stay captured inside the trigger guard for the duration of this project, or it may fall out into your boxer getting loctite in the nether regions at last minute...heard from a friend.

Now insert your new FA BFS binary trigger into the receiver, put a small spot of blue loctite on the housing screw if you are able to salvage it, or on your new screw, and tighten. Do not over tighten, you should feel the screw snug up and stop, that is plenty of torque for application with loctite.

Next, take the safety selectors and use the supplies tiny Allen wrench from FA and remove the LEFT side safety selector, per FA instruction, insert the safety into the receiver from the right to the left (as of the receiver is oriented as it would when the gun is shouldered). The extent will likely be in the way, you can see in the picture it bends in a little when inserting the safety selector, use a small tool like your Allen wrench to bend up to allow clearance for the selector and push all the way through. Use the right side selector to Align the holes in the safety with the clearance in the receiver, attach the left side safety selector by aligning with clearance slot, apply blue loctite to screw and insert into selector until it stops

Your new trigger should now be installed but the loctite will need 24 hours to cure.
Install the lower receiver in your gun with bolt still locked to the rear.

You should be left with the old trigger pack and safety selector, put them in a baggie with the Allen wrench from FA as it is specific to the binary trigger, put them somewhere safe.

FA provides a list of function checks to do before going to the range, do them all. I noticed when in binary that after the first trigger pull, when recocking the gun the bolt will hang up when resetting of the way forward for firing on trigger release, probably due to a suppressor only gun and not being cleaned in a while, could just need a little break in. Hopefully we find out this weekend. This write up is not meant as a replacement for reading the instructions and legal garb the FA provides, it is meant only as an aide for those that would like it.

no can do, Iím posting my video, neckbeard, oversized t shirt to hide the beer belly and all

Overall Wccarnes and I had a heck of a fun time with this thing. Collectively we probably put about 250, maybe 300 rounds down range with it. The video I posted Iím using 30 rounds of 145 grain subsonic ammo, and it was awesome. We had about 85 rounds to play with of that stuff and 20 rounds of freedom HUSH.

We had a few malfunctions related to the trigger. Lack of familiarity with the trigger, and a dirty gun could likely have been contributing factors, but it is important to note that I have about 3k rounds on this gun with no real cleaning and have not had any malfunctions with factory equipment except for a round that was loaded soft and did not eject or strip the next round. Malfunctions related to this trigger were (3) dead triggers, the bolt stuck to the rear half way through a magazine, and on that same magazine failed to lock open after last shot fired. In all cases simply racking the gun cleared the malfunction.

Working the safety is a chore, itís pretty stiff and difficult to operate, primarily getting back to safe, almost like the detent is a little deep. As for the lower I used, it is a new generation lower and mags did not drop free and had to be yanked out. Not the fault of the trigger but I wanted to bitch about it because I like my original lower much better with drop free mags

4/5 would definitely buy x2, it may be a fun range toy but itís my fun range toy. $500 seems kinda steep but at the same time, I was willing to pay it and would again. If you are buying this with the intention of keeping it in the gun for HD, I recommend not doing that, at least not initially, at 25 yds I shot 15 rounds and it looked like a shotgun on target, which would have been quite effective and will probably improve with practice but I think I prefer the factory trigger for reliability.
