Default Standard mag follower in Croat/Yugo BHO mag?

Reside in shitty NJ where 15 round steel mags donít exist. I have a bunch of the new Croat BHO mags (cheapest reliable 10rd steel I could find) and I was wondering if you can swap normal followers in to convert them to normal mags? I know thereís two bumps in normal mags that retain the follower a certain disrance below the lips and I might have to tinker a bit.

I have seen several Hungarian magazines where the follower stops have been repaired. This was done by drilling the old stop out and taking a rivet that has half the round head ground off. The rivet is placed on the inside of the magazine, flat down, and welded and ground off on the outside.

I suggest you contact bad element, a member here on the files. He can convert any magazine to 15 rds. Even drums from what I've read.

Are the BHO followers long enough in those ten rounders to cut down? If they are not, I'm not seeing you gaining anything by installing a regular 30 round follower. Maybe I've missed something.
In 5 round Chinese mags, the follower can be cut to make a ten rounder.
Better yet, just buy a 3-pack of the Weapon-Tech BHO followers which are plastic and cut those down with a utility knife or Dremel.

You do whatever you want. Basically NJ is telling you what you can do.
Nothing personal here, but I've just got to say that- stupid laws got this way by folks doing exactly the "fuck it, I'll just be happy with what I've got" sort of attitude. This is exactly why you have to deal with those stupid laws today. I guess you can always feel lucky that you don't live in Cali. At least you can fill that ten rounder of yours with ammo.

I have seen these before too, but never knew exactly what was going on. Thanks for the info!

I donít see a correlation between not wanting to buy welding equipment, a rivet gun and a grinder to remove a bolt hold open feature on my magazines and the lack of 2A activism in my state, but I get your point.

I can turn a 30rounder into 15 rounds for you. Plastic block plus a rivet in the floor plate.
