Default 5.56 and 9mm AK Updates

Here are a couple more 9mm AK's getting ready to begin a grueling set of torture tests. If all goes well we are looking at a late August or early September release.

Also, the 5.56 AK is in the final rounds of its torture test phase, and should be out around the same time.

Have a great weekend!

Josiah

What kind of brace is that on the top one? Will it be available from y'all at release?

As far as the torture tests, are you referring to in-house testing or have you sent samples to others for a review?

If you haven't already, consider donating one to RobSki with some ammo because while I'm interested in these, I won't be ordering anything until he's given it a review...and I'm sure I'm not alone in that. And make sure what you give Rob is what will be for sale later on, that should be self-explanatory.

I'm also looking forward to the 5.56.

The AK sidefolding style brace has been approved by the ATF. We will be offering these in limited quantities as we have excess supply over our production needs.

We will be offering the AK pistol in 7.62x39, 5.56, and 6.5 Grendel. The rail on our 9mm and other AK pistols will co-witness with several popular red-dot optics. The 9mm AK pistol will be shipped with a 35 rd Scorpion style magazine manufactured by us.

We will be offering a Krinkov style sidefolding pistol in 2019. The Krinkov pistol will be available in 7.62x39, 5.56, and 300 Blackout.

For all of those asking about the PSA5, we are still in development with it, and it is scheduled for release in the 2nd or 3rd quarter of 2019.

Here are some more pictures of our 9mm AK for those asking for them.

Have a great rest of your weekend!

Josiah

The first three images are of an Aimpoint H1 set up with our 9mm AK, and the last 4 are of a Vortex Venom on our 9mm AK.

Thanks,

Josiah

Not sure how much attention you're paying, but you're reading this in PSA's Vendor subforum.

The linked thread ( with all the answers ) is in the AK-47s subforum.

Whatís the difference between the AK pistol and the Krinkov pistol?
Is it like the difference between a Draco and an AKS74u?
(I.e. different handguards, hinged dustcover, etc?)

Whatever is stated, add 6 months to a year to that date.

I really want one in 9mms with that triangular brace... Hopefully Files members will get a heads up before they're listed for sale... They're gonna go fast...

The 9mm PSAK-V will be released shortly as well as the 5.56 PSAK. I should have a date nailed down next week.

Thank you,

Bump for info. Going to Disney World next weekend and don't want to come back to perpetual "sold out" notices.

Getting ready to pull the trigger on a 9mm Pfc and this one is near the top of the list.

If you thought the importer billboards on recently imported Mosin's were bad, look at that logo. Any chance you can stick that on the underside of the receiver?

We will be releasing these soon. I do not have an exact date yet. We are making sure they are 100% in every area so we do not need a GEN 2!!

Hey Josiah, I have a quick question.

Will y'all be releasing any with just a modular rear trunnion, or will they all come with braces?

Thanks!

Pretty sure if you didn't want the brace, you could get one of those models and unload the brace on the marketplace for 20% of the cost of the gun.

That's true, but if the end result is close to breaking even.... I would rather have a real stock and pay the $200 extortion tax, and not have to deal with selling the brace. I live 30 miles outside of a small town, and it's a PITA to get to the post office during business hours with my work schedule.

I can't seem to find any info on it but whatever happened to the completely forged 7.62x39 AK's (bolt, front trunnion specifically)? The last post I could find outlining it all was from over a year and a half ago.

The only plans we have for forged components is the 5.56 AK and the 9mm AK-V.

Thank you,

Josiah

When he said Aug or Sept, he meant of next year... Duhh. Seriously though. The MP5, KS47, and the 5.56/9mm AKs are all pasted due I believe. If I had to wager, I'd say Nov-Jan before we see just one of the aforementioned... That's me being optimistic.

Yes! Come on with that 9mm AK before Iím too old to shoot it without pissing myself. Iím trying to hold off on the Draco Nak9, as this looks much more appealing aesthetically. I donít know how much longer I can wait!
