Default SAIGA SPORTER

Well I got a bit lucky tonight when I stopped by the LGS. Found a spotless & unshot sporter w original box , paper work and 3 mags for $495. It was up on the rack for a few days according to the sales gent, couldn't believe it wasn't snatched up. I've got a carolina shooters conversion kit in supplies drawer ready to go to get her converted.

What caliber mang?

You know Saigas were imported in like 3500 calibers for us sporting folks to enjoy fudd gunning woth.

My favorite is .243 Winchester, but seriously, it was 7.62x39 right? I’d be happy for you if it was 223 as well

Saigas are like Lays chips, can't just have one. I cleaned the sporter the other night and it was spotless , like in unfired ! Can't believe someone else didnt scoop it up before me. The Sales associate said people didnt want it because of the mag limitation. No one was willing to spend a few extra bucks to get the thing converted. $495 price point was a no brainer.

All true. I have three. All perfectly converted and cerakoted. They are my favorite rifles.

The only problem is Russian parts getting harder to come by. So, get them while they are hot, i guess.

Not bad.

I picked up a rear-converted Saiga47 for $550 a couple years back. It was in the used rack of a large LGS and I grabbed it so fast. Anything less than $600 for a Saiga is a steal nowadays.
