Is there a benefit or certain reason the MBUS is in front of the optic?

I am guessing it's due to a very short eye relief of the scope, and the long rail provides adequate sight radius for irons even when mounted in front of the scope.

My latest economy build total cost including scope & mag $385
It's a 7.62x39 complete upper I picked up real cheap, on an 80% lower, cheap commercial buffer, buffer tube & stock set with a lower parts kit I picked up at a gun show for $35. I wouldn't think it was too sensational if it wasn't for how good it shoots.

This is with cheap Wolf ammo at 100 yds.

Special thanks to Justin Collett of Real Shooter Media (IG) for snapping these beautiful photographs of my FNX 45T + SR-25 EMC in the Las Vegas desert earlier this week.

Thank you! It has been a work in progress, but I am glad to finally have everything pieced together. They shoot like a dream! I am glad you took the plunge, my friend.

Package of mounts came in from Liberty today. Finally got to turn this one into a 2-stamp gun. 26 and 40 rounds of 45acp.

Old school M16A1 clone, all USGI M16A1 except charging handle, bolt, bolt carrier, lower and internals. Reminds me of my old SP1 that I had from 1981 to 2011 and the M16A1’s that I was issued in the Army back in the early 80’s.

All the credit goes to the very talented Justin Collett of Real Shooter in Las Vegas.

Great looking rifle! What muzzle device is that?

Words no truer spoken.

Congrats on acquiring the LPR! Now you need a 11.5 CQB to round out the collection.
