I have a suspicion that the features of the Tavor 7 will make it into their next 5.56 iteration.

If so, then I may go ahead and pick that up as well. Might as well start a family! Lol

That being said, I am looking for a 7.62 Nato rifle to use as a "battle rifle" of sorts. Being left handed, the Tavor 7 is extremely appealing. Plus, the adjustable gas system seems like it would lend itself well to suppression. At a price point of what looks to be $1700 to $1900, it seems like a pretty good buy.

So why shouldn't I buy one?

Thanks to a good friend of mine, I have been pointed to a place offering .mil/leo pricing on these rifles! $1,681.77. Not a bad price at all!

That's very good pricing. Are they shipping yet to customers?

Doubt it, rumors are that no one will get anything till sometime next month so they may start shipping soon though

Bro's Tavor 9mm has a problem poking the firing pin out to ignite the rounds. Not sure what's up with that. He is going to contact them about that.

I like a Bulgy AK74 with a .223 barrel.

I can honestly say I don't remember the last time I covered my weapons in sand or mud, even in combat. Interesting test though.
