Default The Benelli M4

Never missed a beat....take care of it and it will take care of you. I remember breaking this in and bought the cheapest buck shots I could find. Did 50 rounds and I was aching the next two days. No hiccups at all and it hit wherever the laser was pointed at (did doubt if the mount/light would hold zero, it did). Am buying softer recoil, not so cheap shots next time around. I did pay an extra $5 for the damaged clip (target paper holder). She's a keeper.

I agree the m4 has much less recoil then the m2 but the m2 feels quite a bit lighter. Both are great shotguns though. I really enjoy shooting mine as well

Really cool shotgun but for the price Benelli should do all the necessary 922r work and make the full length mag tube and collapsible butt stock standard.

More accessories available for the M4 than the M1.

I loved my M1 when I had it, but it was quite limited on what could be done to it, compared to the M4 I picked later:

I'm not a "profession shotgun runner" I use it for real world applications like hunting and clays ect....never had a problem. I'm sure someone has had a bad experience with them, I have not. If I lost it tomorrow I would replace it immediately. I'm nearing the 4k round mark. I've taken a lot of different game with it. To each his own but I love it.

I've heard of other guys say things about the M4's as well, but...

It is possible that that the way those soldiers are holding the shotguns isn't allowing for the recoil operated feeding and ejecting to happen like it's supposed to. None of the malfunctions in the video were from the shoulder.
Also the ammo they're using for training may be weak for safety purposes.
That and it is the military. They look like they're at a school. Which would probably mean that they're the schools shotguns and not the units. School weapons are notoriously abused and ill-maintained.

I've never ran an M4 shotgun myself. But I don't want any of these possible factors to create a false image of this shotgun.

I know it sounds weird, but the military is not the place to develop opinions of weapon systems for many reasons.

In that video they're basically "limp-wristing" those shotguns.
