Default What is a PBS-5's Dimensions???

Hey all, i'm on a hunt for anyone who can give me the dimensions of a fake PBS-5 barrel extension.

I'm talking very precise dimensions.

Artty62 isnt making them, so the rest of us are S.O.L. when it comes to getting a PBS-5 extension for our guns.

If anyone can help, i want to get a accurate drawing of one done up and sent off to a buddy who does CAD. I've got a week of free time, so i'm willing to take this on out of boredom and necessity.

Especially since i refuse to pay 80 bucks for one of those fugly barrel extensions at Investment Grade Firearms.

Anyone with a PBS-5 and calipers would be helpful. Close up pics of the extension would be helpful too.

I think I have some pics and drawings with metric dimensions. I can look for them but it may take a day or two for me to get to them.

Are you looking to make one, or would you like to get your hands on one? I've got one in my gunshow box that I've been carting around for a year and a half. Got it with a K VAR 7.62 Krink kit I bought in 2010. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

At 21mm, that one must be for a 14mm muzzle.

Can't use the airsoft version? The PBS-5 I have is probably the K-VAR unit, it's open in the center bore so it'll slip over the barrel. Also have the PBS-1 if measurements for that are ever needed.

Honestly, I dont know who made that picture with measurements and where it came from. My personal impression is that it looks a little to large in diameter and most definitely way too long. For some reasone I thought it was the k-var replica.
If its not too much trouble, could you post or PM the picture of PBS-1 with overall length and diameter? Thanks in advance

Pics for the time being until I (or someone else) can get measurements. As you can see, the PBS-1 pictured has 14mm threads. Approx 7-3/4" long, weighs about 610 grams/21 oz.

I probably should've mentioned the PBS-1 in my post above is fake, it's a solid chunk of aluminum.
