These are pretty nifty little gadgets! :-)

Me likey... not sure about Local Police Departments using them though. Several Cities already use drones and have an FAA permit for them to spy on pretty much anything they want.. who gets to play with these toys that have a potential of invading your privacy in a major way...? "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely". I don't hate our public servants but also I'm not one to think that everyone walks around with good intentions... And even good en-tensions will pave a road to hell. Everybody has heard about the Fed agents stalking ex girlfriends with there gov issued equipment... Do they have to have one of those things called a "Warrant" to use these things?... I know they don't need one to search your mobile phone. anyways just thought this was interesting... What do you think?

Sadly, it's the future. As technology improves they will multiply. Probably be a continuous umbrella of them at some point in the not so distant future.

When artificial intelligence reaches a certain cost effective level there will be "Robocops". It'll start slow but give it 50 years.

Throw a wet blanket over the stupid robot and they are useless. All they are is a remote control toy with a camera, take out the operators view, and the robot is disabled.

The police state continues to get money, while many loose everything. I drive the roads and Police are at nearly every corner, everyday, this is getting to be simply bullsh-t.
New cars, 5mpg police interceptors, drones, county swat teams....
Cities and Counties are bankrupt, yet the Sheriffs Offices and Police Departments continue hiring and buying state of the art toys, mostly all "Police State" items...

Not a bad stategy for the ones on the ground, if you could somehow do this unseen. The ones in the air though...
