first off.......the ARM is not a pre-ban, they are post ban rifles that came with a thumbhole stock. the only pre-ban MAADI is the ones imported by STEYR.....

and he is correct about the soviet machinary to make them, the soviets licenced egypt to make their own AKMs, and sold them the machinary.

ARMs are good rifles, the finish isn't all that great on them, some look like omar sprayed the thing during a sand storm.....450 is on the high side of it, they are worth around the 350 mark, tops, and that is one that is in excellent shape, in the thumbhole post ban configuartion. you have to realize that if you want to changed out the thumbhole stock to a buttstock and pistol, you will have to spend more money to buy the correct number of US parts........so take that into considertion when negoating the price.

Default Maadi ARMS

I just sold 1 with no mags for $450 locally. I liked it but trigger slap was too much for me.

If the bayonet is a real Egyptian Maadi Type II, then HECK yeah it's a good deal!! Maadi bayonets alone fetch from $125 and up!

Default Bayo

My ARM did not even have the bayonet lug intact. Ban victim.
