OK so I just picked up a near new RPK...

Well I got my RPK today, AES10B with a drum and a dirty thirty. What the hell was I thinking? This thing handles is like an Israeli FALO without the FALO cool factor or even the 7.62NATO punch. It looks cool in pictures but the damn barrel is about as "tactical" as a truck axle that the coked up Romanians decided to drill out, chrome line, and shove parts onto without care of direction. I picked up a soft case for it, then threw the thing under the bed- where it will likely reign collecting dust. That is until I decide to take it out and bump fire it just to make YouTube vids set to retarded music to attract other idiots to become sequestered in their venture to acquire a similar tire iron of a rifle. This is about as bad ass as my SKS purchase when I was a kid coupled with some tactical side folding stock because I was simply to stupid to know any better. You'd think after a decade of collecting I'd learn and few things- like don't order anything until you've actually handled one in person. I guess I will buy ammo for this pig and bump it till I go broke, grin as it makes "noise" and "recoil" while missing 40MOA plates at a 100 yards.

Here's a video below that may help to misguide some of you to your very own rediculous RPK purchase in the same manner that an eight year old is attracted to a monster truck rally because of a radio spotlight. "This Saturday for one day only, YOU HAVE HAAAAVE TO BE HERE FOR MOOONSTEEEER MAAAASSSHHH!!!!" "THE GREATEST BIGFOOT TRUCK EXHIBITION IN THE MIDWEST"!!!! "Monster Mash will crush CARS, SCHOOLBUSES, and have the amazing dynamo daredevils LEAP THROUGH FLAMES while jumping over GIANT TRUCKS crushing SCHOOLBUSES FILLED WITH CARS!!!!" "Be there for MONSTER MASH!!!" "The first 1,000 kids will get a FREE belt buckle (echo: belt buckle belt buckle belt buckle)."

Here the vid that screamed "MONSTER MASH" to me that set me on my retarded search for the heaviest of all useless rifles:

RPK Awesomeness set to FAIL music...

Well I fired it today, hitting a gong at 300 meters. Not bad I guess. It's growing on me in that "get to the choppa" kind of way. The barrel on mine has seen some action for sure. Likely Russian. Marked 55 on top.

OK, it's easy as hell to bump, and because it uses a bi-pod, you can actually hold it on target. I tested a magazine bumping it and got quite a few grins from the local range shooters. It's retarded easy to bump actually, you simply grip the stock and move it slightly forward.

Mine actually looks just like this!!!
