PA 63 Killing my hand

I've even changed the spring out to a 15lbs, but still hurts every time I fire them. Changed out to 13 to the 11 makes no difference still hurt the hand to fire these weapons. Bought 2 CZ82's and there great no killing the hand. Am I the only one with this problem?? Is there something I'm doing wrong here. I've fired a ton of hand guns but this is the first time one is killing my hand to fire. I thought it was the spring, so I bought the 11lb, 13lb, and 15lb tried them all didn't make any difference at all. Still killing my hand to fire.

Light weight AL frame, also smaller contact patch with your hand. Wear some PAST gloves or don't shoot them.

Well, I'm sure you have probably heard this before but I've been told changing out the recoil spring on the barrel to something heavier really makes a difference. I haven't tried it on mine but I hear it helps w/ regards to hurting the hand. I am a smaller dude (5'7") and have a slightly smaller hand than the regular adult & I think that helps as far as handling/shooting this particular firearm as I come away unbothered from shooting it. I love the gun, it's pretty damn accurate! At least for my ccw needs.

Good Luck

I think I have seen pics where somebody took rubber padding(like off a mouse pad) and glued it on the back of the frame

I found getting rid of the thumbrest grips along with using the 15# recoil spring made it much nicer to shoot.
