Default Opinions on Catamount Fury 12GA shotgun?

This thing is apparently Chinese made and saw it for the first time today from Centerfire Systems. They look similar to a Saiga 12 and are built on the AK platform. It will not accept Saiga or Vepr mags. $699 @ Centerfiresystems.

Anyone know anything about these? The chinese seem to know how to make decent AK's.... so this shotgun might be ok. Not sure...

C'mon dude.

The last post in this one's less than an hour old: catamount fury - AK Files

P.S. This is neither a Saiga or Vepr.

I would not think of purchasing one until there is some reviews on them. They may be total piles of crap or they may be the best thing since the semi auto shotgun was invented, but it's not worth risking the money until you know unless you have cash to blow imo.

Yeah, tucked away in the rifle discussion. I thought this post was ok in the Saiga Vepr forum because it mimics the Saiga & Vepr 12. And yes, I know it is not a Saiga or a Vepr. Btw, do you know if it will take Saiga or Vepr mags? Just kidding. Take a chill pill for fuck's sake!

Default just got a close look at one

Alot of the parts seemed to be cast, kinda ruff and grainey. On the model i looked at (skeletonized stock and plastic mag funnel) saiga mags would have to be modified to fit.
hinged top cover kinda loose and square back with no tang on rear trunion. Gas system seems to be saiga like with ak style front end. without breaking out calipers and mic. bolt and carrier seem to be very close copy.
Sights are more useful than on standard saiga and looked to have internal screw in choke tubes.

Internals use conventional hammer spring not wound ak type
