I went in Buds' retail store today, they had a whole crate of it still in retail marked $160, I argued them down to $145 each for two. I'm set for a while now, we'll see how the prices go . . .

if thats the case then we all may be waiting a while longer because Sgammo specifically said 3-4 months before new shipments of surplus and that was said 3-4 weeks ago. Also they are going off a guesstimate or even a WAG from the one or two importers if thats the case.

I get the impression RGuns imports it. I know they import guns and sell some to other retailers like AIM and SOG. I assume they import ammo too. We can also be reasonably sure Century is importing. Anyone else?

Century now has it for $264.95 for a 1080 round tin. Wow. I got it for $118 per crate a couple years back from them. Glad I got 32 crates.

I think I pointed out earlier in this thread that the Bulgarian 7n6 Century is carrying is listed as '91 vintage which means it should have a stronger steel penetrator than older style 7n6 we're used to seeing like the '70s and early '80s version.
Do I think that's worth twice the current price? Nope. Could be for you though if having a stronger potential for armor piercing is important, and not to mention still being a hell of a lot cheaper than modern production green tips.

I can't say about penetrator strength, but I've shot this stuff at steel plates and at water bottles, and it makes a 1/4" dent in soft steel plates, and it penetrates 6 1-gallon plastic water bottles before blowing out the side.
