Well I entered the darkside..lol.
Never really thought I wanted a glock. Something about plastic and guns just never appealed to me. I have a few of other handguns (around 12) BTW. My favorite little carry piece has been the CZ82 lately. I've always like the older surplus steel handguns. Well anyhow I went into my favorite gun store the other day and walked out with a new glock 17 (9x19), didn't go there intending to buy one, just worked out that way if you know what I mean. He gave me a decent deal on it so I went for it. I like the 17 round mag capacity and lightweight of this gun. It balances pretty decent for me...better than I thought. I took it out today and practiced a bit with it. I have to say this thing is growing on me. Seems very simple, not many parts and easy to take down. I figure it will make a nice side arm to go with my primary weapon if the SHTF. Anyone else into Glocks here?

I'm a Glock fan, 9's and 45's
The epitome of K.I.S.S. #1 in military, civilian, and LE, they must have done something right. Best bang for the buck IMO.

A Glock is a lot like an AK. Reliable, simple to operate, easy to maintain. Goes bang everytime. I have G19s, G17, G26, G34 and more mags than I can count.

Glocks are the AK of the pistol world! They share many of the same traits. Simple, reliable and called ugly by many.
I've fired many a Glock but there are many I still need to try. The model 22 and 23 are sweet favorites. The 20, chambered in 10mm, is in my sights right now to add to the collection.

Yep bro. I got a Glock 23 and can't be happier with it.
Might end up getting the lone wolf conversion barrel for a 9mm so I can fire the plentiful ammo when TSHTF

Personally...I'm a fan. For the money..Glock makes one hell of a weapon IMO.
I have many pistols but this is my current Glock shooting crew... ![]() The 27 is my concealed carry choice. The 23 is the "house gun" and the 17 is a plinking favorite and a particular favorite of my wife. |
