PICS ON RIFLE:
![]() ![]() as the title states. I removed the old finish.. also removed as many dings in the stocks as possible. the only real dings that show are on the lower handguard. I then stained the stock with outdoor "ebony" stain... but didn't go overly dark with it.. just darkened up the grain (almost looks stained with india ink). I finished and sealed it with flat spar urethane so as not to get the "wet" look... the lower handguard is slightly shinier than the other two pieces from being polished by use/shooting. I blended the pieces of wood into the rifle.. so the edges don't fit "blockish" like an unfitted set. the wood has pretty decent "tiger" look IMO and it was always a nice looking set. I have a soviet rifle now with soviet wood on the way... so no real use for this set anymore. looking to get $40 shipped SUPER AKFILES FINAL REDUCTION! for it.. I spent a lot of time and effort on it as this was a set I was planning on keeping on a rifle that I no longer have. thanks for looking! ![]() ![]() ![]()
