AK chassis fit to PSL

Hello guys.

Since we are launching new AK freefloat chassis i should ask - would you be interested in PSL version?

The chassis 3d print mock-up on ak74:

The rear rail section will be longer so you shall be able to use AR cantilever mount turned backwards to fit any scope.

The differences are:
Gastube is longer than in ak74
Barrel.diameter near the front trunion.

So i need you help
1. How much PSL gas piston is longer than AK gas piston?
2. What is the barrel diameter at the area near the reciever (50mm/2" from the reciever) - the correct drawning would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Yes I would be very interested, I'm a retired CAD tec. Give me a diagram of what you want
Measured and I'll get it for you.

so i assume the adaptation for the chassis to fit PSL is not necessary for the PSL owners here :)

So let's close the topic.

do you want the gas piston only or the gas piston and bolt carrier together??
barrel on mine is .894" in front of the receiver.
the piston measured 24.4cm

as usial. you just remove dustcover as you do it on a normal AK

savagebrother 02-02-2018 12:02 PM

so im assuming your clamping the forearm to the barrel at the receiver???

How well will an optic hold zero on this chassis?

jmano 02-28-2018 04:49 PM

It looks really cool to me but $500 is a tough pill to swallow.

Once zeroed optics always stays in place.
You clean the rifle without removing it.

So it holds zero fine.

I will not debate the price - it is pointless.

But you can buy it without ACR M-LOK foreend and use polymer PTS one. It will work and will save you half of price.
