Mag ID Help #2

These are supposed to be E German, but I don't really see any large letters stamped on the spine.

Can anyone confirm where these are from?

Thanks.

Looks to me like an 'O' and 'H' stamped on the spine pic #2.
When scrutinizing mags for stamps, I use a pocket pen light up close. You'll be surprised what you can find that way.

That's my 'H'........................but it could be a two.
With pics that resolution in the forum and a couple of scrupulous souls..................I'd say your spines have stamps. :)

Any idea on this? I have another with the same two letter FX prefix

Just a Citizen 08-12-2017 10:26 PM

I'd guess Romanian on that one, due to the huge spot welds on the front locking lug.

Ram Rod 08-12-2017 11:18 PM

I'd say Romanian as well............kind of a thread hijack too. Just sayin'

panzertruppe 08-13-2017 12:27 AM

Yep romie mongo welds on that one,

panzertruppe

JConnor93 08-13-2017 01:57 PM

Lick it, does it taste like snittzle?

bigrog210 08-13-2017 06:05 PM

Possibly Romanian , possibly Egyptian.

Can't tell wth out proper pics of everything; follower out of mag , spring , floorplate, floorplate retainer, spine shot , shot of rear locking lug, shot of front welds. I think we need a sticky showing everyone how to post the correct pictures for a magazine I.D. ...so tired of this one picture BS.

Does that rib turn 90 ?Romanian. If it doesn't, more possibly Egyptian

Ram Rod 08-14-2017 11:43 PM

I guess the thread hijack has been overlooked at this point.
