I wish I could find one of those at that price!

Bullseye01 06-13-2018 04:48 PM

Damn gun store wouldn't budge on tax. I walked out and came back later and still hit me for $650otd. New in box and serial number M90NP0018##. How many were imported anybody know?

Craigan 06-13-2018 04:52 PM

The m90np and the m77 rifles were a one and done type thing. They were specifically made for the US civillian market, and there was an attempt to track serial numbers owned by those on the files.

I dont think we ever had an example over 2000, but that doesn't mean they dont exist.

Bullseye01 06-13-2018 06:13 PM

I'll post pics in a bit

That is a good deal, I paid $605.00 back in 2016. Mine is the early 0005xx range. It's a tank but I love it!

boutcha 06-13-2018 09:07 PM

You got lucky OP.
$650 is a score. The Yugo 223 pistols are big $$$ now as well.

Bullseye01 06-14-2018 06:24 AM

Fell asleep early last night and forgot about pics.....

bravo lima 06-14-2018 07:13 AM

Sweet! And unlike typical Yugo's, yours has a chrome lined barrel.

frankinnola 06-14-2018 07:18 AM

congrats OP! good score

Bullseye01 06-14-2018 11:59 AM

Thanks. It feels just like my Opap holding it.

Bullseye01 06-14-2018 12:33 PM

Now I have the M90NP, Opap, and M77. I wish I could find an M70ab2 at a good price. I passed up some years ago and now they are high priced when you find them.

frankinnola 06-14-2018 12:49 PM

I see Atlantic put up some M85 builds for sale :}

RMiller 06-14-2018 02:26 PM

Good buy. Cheaper than when new at least.

DesertGunner 06-14-2018 02:28 PM

Nice. Very nice.

If that was a private sale and no tax or background check fees, etc, you did really, really well.

Still kicking myself in the ass for not buying one of these a couple of years ago when that was the going price.

That's a LOT of rifle for that kind of money.

darink300zx 06-14-2018 02:51 PM

Congrats, you got a good deal OP. I got mine 2 years ago and paid just a little less than you.

Mudburner 06-14-2018 04:17 PM

I just now picked up one BNIB for $750 otd from a local hardware store/pawn shop.

I went in there with some possible trades: Chinese SKS, Chinese NHM 91, Romy md 63 with dong, bayo, etc. and an old 80s Colt .380 Govt model. They rejected the SKS out of hand, had three or four already... priced reasonably with more in the back. This place has 2000 guns on display with that many more in the back... nothing moving since Trump got elected so they were in no mood to trade, but they very generously (sarcasm) said they would take ALL THREE long guns for the Zastava...

And he was serious. It was cheaper just to pay cash. They had the Zastava priced at $750 plus tax but finally did $750 out the door & put in the two cheapass mags that came with it. Only wanted to gimme one at first. These mags look built out of old coke cans they so flimsy... (Shrugs shoulders)

These M90NP guns are pretty scarce around here, so I paid it. Its a heavy rifle, looking forward to shooting it tomorrow.

These should run just fine with either brass or steel case, right?

Bullseye01 06-14-2018 05:56 PM

Will regular wood Yugo furniture work the same with the M90NP as it does with the other Zastava/Yugo rifles?

Awesome!! I have an original Chinese grater but I doubt I'll put it on the M90NP

Mudburner 06-15-2018 12:14 PM

Yeah, man... I just took mine out &,shot it. Those polymer handguards HAVE TO GO.
They get hotter than hot after only one mag. Or maybe modify to install some sort of heat shield? Maybe I should just look for a set of Yugo wood.

Bullseye01 06-15-2018 12:26 PM

I'm going for the Yugo wood.

Rev06 06-15-2018 03:29 PM

Good get at that price OP. Now shoot the fire out of it

Nick954 06-15-2018 06:09 PM

Bought mine nib for $638.63 from sportsman outdoors online back in June of 2016. Serial number is in the low 1200s
