I saw that same add. Looks like it might be a decent scope. The name could be deceiving, We see a German name and think top quality. I would like to try 1 on my Polish ak with ACE rear sight scout mount.

that's what went through my mind when I saw it........I seriously doubt that it's australian or even geman, looks like a leapers with a german name to it.......I would be very wary of buying something like that.

If you look at the top of the scope at the front it says "1x30RD". This is a product number. I did a GOOGLE search and found these:

The last one listed appears to be the same scope and rings made in China.
