Are the Centerfire's matching Romanian PSL kits nice or...? Thanks for all comments, SB

It depends. Centerfire sells two types of kits w/ both front and rear trunnions. One is a non-matching kit for around $310, and the matching kits are $350. I just ordered five kits and some of them have a threaded barrel while other flash hiders are pinned on. Two of the three I have are pinned.
Furniture-wise it can be a bit of a crapshoot. It ranges from dented and gouged to pretty decent. Nothing pristine though. All have seen wear of some kind or another. However, these kits seem to be new rifles, or close, when they were demilled. The barrels are beautiful and shiny.

I bought one of the “all matching’ kits back when they were $300. Everything matched except the gas tube – which is not a critical component to have matching. The kit I got looked to be from a nearly new rifle that appears to have been fired only a few times. Everything looked new but the front lower handguard had quit a few dings in it. The muzzle device unscrews and has the locking detent.
While I’m very pleased with the quality of my kit, it was purchased about a year ago..

I have gotten several kits from CFS ranging from unacceptable (returned) to exxcellant, matching thru out & possibly unfired before being demilled. They are 1/2 pinned kits & 1/2 threaded kits! Even the FCG was marching numbered to the rest of the last gun, but that was the luck of the draw that I won. Yes, too bad the NDS receivers are gone, but the ones I needed are sitting in the kit boxes along with excellant scopes!

I bought one of Centerfires FPK kits with the trunions and it was all matching #s stock in good condition for Romy wood. I wont have much use for the stock as I was lucky enough to find a NoDak Spud via TGI. My FFL came by a few of these and I was in the right place at the right time. The NoDak receiver is sooooo much better than the Romy receivers and of course you have stock options..
