Worked all night, now I'm getting ready to meet dad and head up to the big gun show in Louisville, KY. I'm shopping for several item's, mostly AK and AR related. I'll report back with current gun show price's.

Good luck in your quest. Most, if not all of the gun shows in my area aren't worth the admission price to get in. Used to be but not anymore unfortunately.

I have been seeing excellent personal sale deals...in net and locally.
My local funshow was a dud...
Good luck though.

You must realize that all the other gun dealers are out to screw them. The price is marked accordingly. Do not strive for a cheap price, just a fair one.

Back home. Oh I'm sleeeepy, been up far to long. Had a good day at the show. I went in search of several item's but my main objective was to find a mil-spec AR receiver extension. In my stupidity I ordered some stuff from Magpul last week and ordered the wrong MOE stock. Ordered mil-spec and needed commercial. So I decided to change out the tube rather than ship the stock back to Magpul and use the old one for another AR I'm building. The second table I came across had a mil-spec 6 position for $20.00, Hot dawg!
I was also looking for some 30-30 dies cheap to load some rounds for a friend. I came across a new set of Lee's for $25.00 and a trimmer gauge for $5.00. I then came across a table that had some misc. AR parts I wanted, a couple of firing pin retainers, Cam pin, recoil buffer stop and spring, accu-wedge, and a single point sling attachment. All for $13.00.
My Dad and I were also looking for some AK stuff but unfortunately the 2 vendors that usually have kits and parts weren't present, Dad was really bummed out because he wanted some stuff for his MAK. We went in halfer's on a case of Yugo 7.62x39 for $230.00, not bad, about the going rate if you include shipping.
As far as gun prices they were what I expected. Russian SKS's for $450.00. All other SKS's for $325.00. Wasr 10/63's for $435.00. One vendor had two crates of Mosin 91/30's for $90.00 each. Best deal of the show. The open crate I looked into had mostly Izzy's but a couple of nice looking Tula's. People were lined up doing the paperwork. He sold out before we left. I wanted one bad but have to many and passed it up. One guy had a price of $325.00 on an M-44, LOL. I also picked up 200 Hornady 55 grain .223 bullets for $20.00 to reload in the AM.
We had a good time and I got mostly what I wanted. To top off the evening I took Dad to Hooters for dinner.

I honoured National Gun Day by picking up a Milled Arsenal in 7.62 on a personal sale. As soon as I pay him the last little bit on it I'll get some pics of it. I don't know the model number, but last year I set it up with a U.S. made NATO length stock set. I got rid of the Planet of the Apes synthetic crap that came on it for him. I told him then if he ever wanted to part with it, I want dibs. He honoured that promise, and I'm a happy guy!

Cool IanMor, post pic's when you can. Dad wanted to buy another AK yesterday. He looked at several WASAR 10/63's at the show. After the show we went to one of the shops I visit when I'm in the Louisville area. They had several 10/63's we looked over. I picked up one and held it out away from me looking from the stock end down the length of the rifle. I noticed the entire receiver was severely twisted to the left like it was mounted crooked on the trunnion. After that he decided he didn't want one.

Yeah Blu, it seemed to cycle just fine by hand. Just the thought of a bent gun turned him off. We are thinking about driving back down to Centerfire and picking up a couple of Romy underfolders. I wonder if they are 10's or 10/63's. Like I told dad, we would just have to look over them real well before we purchase.
