i`d like to buy a late milled ak ---or

i would like to get my hands on a current produced milled type a k and or variant thereof. new or ? suggestions please . $ range 400 to 700 ? thank for the help/sugestions.

Only one serious contender, Arsenal Inc. SA-M7S, the clone of the current production Bulgarian military AK-47M1, which used a premium US milled receiver and AK-74 style gas system.

Honestly, best over the counter production AK available.

keep your eye out for norinco mak 90 and mak 91 rifles with a 386 inside a oval. these are high qaulity chinese rifles. the prices on these have been dropping. arsenal makes an excellent rifle but by the time you get it out the door with tax youll be around your 700 dollar mark.

You might find a PolyTech Legend, but it would be expensive. A 386-marked milled MAK-90 is about as good.

I'll second the vote for the Arsenal Inc. Rifles. Although I have an older Bulgarian (SA-93), everything I have heard about Arsenal's series has been positive. Good luck and let us know what you end up getting.
