WTK RPK74 gas block same as RPK47?

I want to use one of K-Var's RPK 74 gas blocks on my RPK 47 barrel. Will it fit?

I'll answer my own question - yes it will and no it's not the same. The barrel dia is the same, but the overall length is less. Kinda like they tried to make it smaller to save weight. It probably could actually be used, but it wouldn't look right to someone who knew the difference.

If anybody wants to buy a new K-Var RPK 74 gasblock, I'll let it go for $20.00 shipped. That's cheap...
