I'm in the capital region and would like to get together with an experienced AK builder who has infinite patience and would be interested in helping a mechanically inept fool like me slap together an AMD63 on a Hesse receiver when all arrives. I've ordered a rivet set, have a RSA trigger group to pop in and will order a Tapco piston to make it all 922r compliant. As I understand it the receiver already has a finish and if it is close to the kit finish (which I understand is like new/unissued I won't even need to do and finishing.
