Guys,
Just got back from the Desert so forgive me if this is an old subject. Are there reloading components for the 5.45x39 cartrige? I was thinking of selling my 74 and buying an M-4, but if I can reload I might hold on to it. It's a pretty nice weapon but the M-4/Ar-15's have such a wide range of ammo available.

I think they made this brass a few years ago and they are just getting rid of what little they have at a very high price.

Don't want to reload THAT bad. Thank you Sir. And that is that, as they say.

Everything points to selling the 74 and buying an M-4. Can't afford both and the 5.56 just has more options in the way of ammo. Match rounds, reloads etc....But to be fair I haven't really tried but one brand of ammo. I might order the Barnaul 55 gr hollow points off the web and see how she does. I have shot the 60 gr fmj and it did OK, but didn't stack up against the M-4 with black hills ammo. Apples and oranges. But some times I want an orange.
