Awesome flick
You guys definitely need to check this one out. Great script, awesome special effects and Christian Bales does a great job as an older John Connor.

While I am at it, I just saw the new Star Trek movie also.
Awesome as well.
I always liked the old series--being a child of the 60s, Sci Fi was something I got into at a young age. I know it was hopelessly PC but that's another story.
The flick did a phenomenal job of bringing the old histories together. Cool as hell. Best Star Trek movie of them all, by far, IMO.
It helps to have been into the series in the old days. ;)

Def on my list.
I been doing horror movies lately..Drag Me To Hell, The Orphan, and Paranormal Activity..

My wife and I watched The Orphan and Paranormal Activity last night. They were okay. I've seen better. They at least had some entertainment value though.

Yep ,
Gene Roddenberry definitely did a good touch on 'this could be reality of you just can wrap your head around it' sort of writing.
I too have always been a Si-Fi & horror story fan all the way back from riding my stingray bike to the local five and dime for comic books like Tales from the Crypt and such.
He came out with Star Trek when there was nothing else out there (That I remember) like it and for me it filled a big void in the craving for new and interesting Si-Fi entertainment.
I look forward to seeing the new one.

Anyone here seen "Taken" yet? That's an awesome movie, especially the uncut version because he pretty much just shoots people a lot more, haha.
If you haven't seen Taken, you need to!

Drag Me To Hell
So-so.
They had 2 or 3 awesome scenes though.
My wife is into that sort of stuff so we see all the horror/suspense genre.

I definitely want to see Terminator Salvation. I hope to go see that new James Cameron movie called "Avatar" over the holidays in the theater. The trailer looks badassed - I'm definitely a scifi action fan.

No doubt the new Star Trek was great, looking forward to the next installment.
just watched Terminator today, had time off. Not too shabby, interesting to say the least.
As for Avatar, it looks to be a goodone too.
As for Taken, yeah, while the chase was a little out there, the rest was great.
Merry Christmas

story behind Avatar is US Marine Corps invades another planet to steal their natural resources, the good guys being indigenous lizard-frog-things with spears and sh*t

Just read the book a couple of days ago.

Read the book a while back, and didn't know they made a movie out of it! Hope they don't dick it up.

Terminator was good. The last terminator sucked, but this one I watched twice. Trek was good, too.
The IRA Barley flick that Party talked about I saw a while ago. It's worth seeing.

I watched about 30 seconds and left the room. I could stand no more. I would be careful about admitting 15 minutes worth. People will start to make assumptions about your preferences.
