losing hope

I don't post here much. I'm the only person my age that I know who has true work ethic. Everybody else just wants a handout.

I don't have a lot of friends. People dislike me because of my political views. People my age tend to avoid me, mostly because I'm interested in something other than going to clubs to pick up whores.

I'm really losing hope in this country, I didn't think it could get any worse than my generation (I'm 21 now), but each batch of younger kids has me more and more sickened, and worried for my country, every day.

I overheard a conversation last night, in which, a girl, who was probably my age or a year or two younger asked "the civil war was the one with japan, right?"

My city is so flooded with mindless liberals that it makes me sick. 95 percent of the people I talk to voted for Obama, but can't seem to explain why. They all think Clinton was a great guy, but don't know anything he did (apart from getting a blowie in the oval office)

All I know is that this is not the America that I was told about as a kid. These are not the people who can do anything, the people who put a man on the moon, the people who are supposed to stand for whats good, and honest in the world. Where the hell did it go wrong?

I find myself praying for things to fly off the handle, just so I can do my part in trying to set them right. The marine corps and army wouldn't take me because of some injuries from my teenage life. I broke my back and shattered my pelvis and right hip in a car accident.

I don't really know where I am going with this, I guess just looking for some support, or some affirmation that other people are experiencing the same thing, and that I'm not alone in this.

I just feel so overwhelmingly alone in my beliefs and views.

Don't place your hope in a Country, or a State, or a County or a Town.

If you give up hope, the others have won. They are depending on you throwing in the towel. Never give them that satisfaction. Start with small victories that can be attained quickly. As you start building on these start ramping up the difficulty of the wins. Just like physical therapy only you are training your mind. NEVER give up hope.

Honestly, I don't know how I would live during this time period if Jesus wasn't the center of my world. But this world is temporary, it will eventually, in some way, end. Why put your hopes in a world, country, or society that is headed for a definite end. I'm 17 I'm often criticized for my take on society, at school I'm in the minority as far as my position on politics. most of my peers don't care of those who do the majority are a bunch of fanny bandits who think obama is the messiah. I have found that there are other some who share my views. They tend to be the smarter more well behaved people I no. wow a level headed post, you sure your only 21. I think every generation thinks there generation sucks. However, this generation, the kid are coddles, no one plays outside anymore, and recreational time is schedules playdates.

I guess it's a little hard for me to accept losing belief in my country. I was raised in a very patriotic family (as I'm sure many of you were).

It's very good to know there are a lot of other people out there like me. Especially people my age. I really don't know anybody my age who isn't lost. I could call them liberals, but they don't know the meaning of the word. All they believe is what Celebrities tell them is good, and right. Global Warming is king, all guns are evil, and tolerance is putting yourself below everybody else.

I know exactly where the sense of entitlement came from, it came from years of being buried in Birthday and Christmas gifts, it came from parents making their kids believe they are special, and more important than anyone else. I'm all for parents treating their kids right, but that doesn't mean to spoil them rotten.

I think things will go south when people can't keep pretending they make 500,000 a year. Who knows. I know that Toledo has gotten really ugly in the past year. Things are happening here at a rate that I'd never imagine. Shootings, car jackings, robberies, all of it.

I carry EVERYWHERE. Regardless of if there's a sign that says I can or can't.

I've taken a few carbine courses, and I'm looking at doing more. I'd really like to do team tactics with my family, but I don't think they're ready yet.

Start out unloaded. That's how you should start and how most of your tactical training should be done anyhow for reasons of safety, security, the cost of ammo and practicality.

I'm 21 and feel the exact same way bro. People our age just don't get it, they think that they can live in a care basket their whole life and it will never change. But hey, you and I will be the fittest when SHTF :D

Some towns are ALOT more liberal than others. I had to move out of Austin, Tx. I just couldn't live there anymore, with those libtards. I still live in Texas and sometimes have to work a day in Austin, but it usually ends up being shortened so I can get the hell out of there. But I'm fine in San Antonio, Houston, or Dallas. The libtards don't have the majority in those towns..it's funny how it makes a difference in the whole environment when it's a lib town.

trust me warhound, you're not alone. you're just hanging out in all the wrong places. see to your personal preperations and find a new crowd to mingle with. you might try a local conservative political organization for starters. getting involved might give you a better perspective on things. keep your tone civil when in public and your preperations to yourself. you're not odd, just ahead of the curve.
