Talked to the owner of Solar Tactical for a 1/2 minute. Sez these have seen some use in the 2 current conflicts, and hold zero well even after repeated opening and closing of the rail. Available reviews seem good. Currently running a group buy on another board that gets you the rail/peep a free selector tab with rivets for $130+6.50 shipping.
I know it isn't going to be a lot of peoples cup of tea, but I'm gonna try it out. I do have a cheap CompM2 I'm gonna try on it. If it works I'll have to get a real one.
I'll let you all know what I think of it in a couple weeks.
Damn my $75 SAR1 is fast becoming not so cheap after all...
