View Thread: Counterfeit "laws"

Interesting read. Here is the link and and excerpt.

"No one has any moral obligation to obey counterfeit "laws". I choose to wear a seat belt. I feel more secure that way. Other people feel trapped by them. That is OK. That is personal choice using YOUR best information. No "law enforcement officer" is justified in punishing anyone for violating any counterfeit "law". Once they do, THEY become the criminal. Real laws do not need enforcers. Would you intervene to stop a rape? Me too. Would you hold a person at gun-point while calling for back-up if you see him sitting in traffic without his seat belt on? Of course not. Only a mindless drone of the state would do something that evil."

Very well put and I couldn't agree more.

Yoda, did you read my comment? Quote "Interesting read. Here is the link and and excerpt."

I am currently reading everything I can get my eyes on, from all point of views. I believe I will have to put my life on the line for what I believe.

You must be a cop. When did you "guys" stop being peace officers and become law enforcement officers. The whole point, if you read the WHOLE article, is why is it anyones business what I do? ( IF it doesn't violate someone else's rights)

It became the states interest when they ( by being dumb shits most likely)
decided that they had to help everyone who couldn't take care of themselves.
Now they have extended their reach to keep you from harming yourself so the
public doesn't have to pay for your care. Maybe we can all just record an affidavit disallowing any and all state aid to ourselves and families. Lived my
whole life that way anyway. In God I trust , everyone else can suck dirt.

Radical libertarians rarely get it right........Allow me to play devils advocate............The 5th admendment garuantees the right to property...........Now if I owned the Mona Lisa and had a buyer maybe lined up, and you counterfeited it and sold it to him instead, you would be depriving me(owner) and him(buyer) of our property rights.........The same with "funny money", every fake dollar in circulation, lowers my buying power, i.e..Property rights.

As for the seat belt stuff......My question to him is "where was he when they passed this law in his state?", Was he banging on the door, yelling "this is unconstitutional", or was he at home on the couch shaking his fist at the tv? This is a democratic republic.......The FF's gave the real power to "We the People" we are just to dumb/lazy to use it! Can't blame it on the cops for doing their jobs..........The blame is ours.

BTW=Nothing wrong with being a libertarian, until you radicalize it. Just saying.

We are not ready to die for our rights--yet, but LEOs are more than willing to kill me if I stand up for mine. Here is how the story goes: I get a seat belt ticket. I refuse to pay fine. At some point you guys show up at my house to arrest me. When I refuse to go and I defend myself....Guess what happens? I die.

Very extreme I know. What happens when I openly carry a firearm and refuse to disarm? Yep. The local friendly LEOs kill me.

Laws are enforced with a barrel of a gun and some time in the near future we will be protecting our life, liberty, and property the same way.

leos have discretion... the ones that tell you they have to take you in for some weed.. thats cause they want to. the ones that tell you they HAVE to give you a ticket for no seat belt.. they wanted to. I got some family poe poes and one specifically doesnt give a shit what you do as long as you dont disturb the peace. no seat belt, so what. hit your wife and you get the boot in your face. get it. It takes all kinds.. There are robots, and people on power trips. There are also fair PEACE OFFICERS and lazy donut eaters that dont give two shits about anything. See what im sayin... you cant judge them all by a few that stand out. If you want to change the culture.. become a deputy or volunteer

its worth a shot

Leo's are Highwaymen for the state.

They are there to protect and serve...the state.

They enforce unconstitutional court decrees.

Don't try putting lipstick on it.

Militant jack Booted Thugs, Dressed in black, military gear and weapons.... The Enforcers of a POLICE STATE... NOT Peace officers. makes me Sick.

A guy here got a ticket when a cop blew a stop sign (not running code), and he honked his horn at him. "Improper Use of Horn", they called it. PD refused to show the dash cam vid to local media, even after a FOIA request. The cops pointed out where it says "Exempt" on the cruiser's plates and told him that meant they were exempt from the law.
Not even close to right, my friends.
