Talk about quality..!

Holy smokes these Saigas are head and shoulders above the pack..!

The level of quality is so much higher that I can hear and feel it when just cycling it by hand. It sounds more like a milled receiver rather than stamped. Now I understand why when I hear them fired in videos that they seem to sound "lower" than any other manufacturer of AK's.

When I picked my new Saiga .223 from the FFL she had one of these all un-boxed and ready for me to take.

My first thought was that I was shipped the wrong damn gun. Then we checked the paperwork and noticed that it had come from K-var, where as I had bought mine from someone else. My second thought was that she would have made a $200 mistake in my favor had I been someone who would have "gone along with it".

I prefer buying the unconverted saiga's in .223 and doing them up to a AK with a bit of help from a friend. both of mine are awesome shooters.

Get a S-12, too.

Well, I'm a gonna' bark off about 150 to 200 rounds flawlessly with my Saiga sighting in my new 3-9x42 range finding illuminated reticle scope..!
