View Thread: Romak 3 Sight Adjustment Question

Hey guys, I need to ask a few questions.
I took my new Romak 3 to the range and loved the way it shoots, however I did have an issue:

1. At 100 yards I zeroed it in as much as possible and had this problem. I would shoot at a 4 inch target and hit 1 inch to the left. If I made a one (1) click adjustment it hit 1 inch to the right. I could not get it to make a smaller adjustment. About 6 inches at 100 yards seems a bit much.

Other than this, I loved it.

Loosen the two flat tip screws on the windage turret, then do your adjustment by moving the top part of the turret(there should be no clicking action just smooth rotation), once done move the lower part of the turret to ZERO (there will be clicking but the top part should not move) and tighten down the screws with out moving the turret.

Hope that helps you out.

I figure when the screws are loose you can do fine adjustments and once the screws are tighten down, the turret adjustment click and correspond to the scopes reticule windage markings.

Thanks I'll try that out. I'm nervous about the adjustment, but at worst, I can always sight it back in again.
