new book argues the American dream for middle-class citizens is being destroyed by a federal government that has become so large it cannot operate intelligently.

New York Times best-selling author Martin Gross argues that politicians of both parties are destroying the "soul and guts of the nation" -- the middle class -- by contributing to a massive federal deficit that is projected to grow by $9.3 trillion over the next decade.

In his new book National Suicide: How Washington is Destroying the American Dream from A to Z, Gross contends that the American people are committing national suicide -- and they that are only first beginning to understand it as the word "trillion" overtakes the former word "billion."

"We're paying only 4.5 percent interest now, but remember [under] Jimmy Carter it was 16 percent," he notes. "You could easily with inflation go to 10 percent, which means that the interest on the national debt would be $2.5 trillion a year -- which means that there will be no Social Security, there will be no Medicare, no Medicaid. The country will be bankrupt."

And that, he argues, would have dire consequences. "Remember, we did not defeat the Soviet Union on the battlefield -- they went bankrupt," he points out. "And that could possibly be America's unfortunate step. And the only way to stop it is to stop the federal government in its present road to oblivion."

Gross says the country should heed James Madison's warning about the "tyranny of the majority." The author notes that the majority of Americans pay no income tax -- all of the bottom half pay 3.5 percent of the budgets, mostly through FICA tax; the rich pay 30 percent; and the middle-class pay two-thirds of the bill and cannot afford it.

Fear and Hunger will be the last three plagues to be visited upon us as our treasonous "leaders" and "elites" dismantle our nation.

The final plague?

All of you will be scraping for crumbs like cockroaches.

Your fellow man brought this upon you, just remember that, the stupid and the 'stupid smart'.

Point taken...

The sheeple bleat stupidly for their own destruction like a spoiled kid who throws tantrums until he gets his ass whooped.

Well, we've got a govt that is too big to survive.

One must wonder what our founding fathers would say to us and if anyone would even listen. In all honesty, I doubt many even here would.

New York Times best-selling author Martin Gross argues that politicians of both parties are destroying the "soul and guts of the nation" Heart, mind and soul is more like it.

The country will be bankrupt."And then add to that a 30% decrease in GDP.
That would magnify the implications of that considerably.

On top of that, consider that with the way the govt has unloaded money into the supply, it is a foregone conclusion that we will have inflation.

And that, he argues, would have dire consequences. "Remember, we did not defeat the Soviet Union on the battlefield -- they went bankrupt," he points out. Absolutely correct.

"And that could possibly be America's unfortunate step. And the only way to stop it is to stop the federal government in its present road to oblivion."Yep. Voting, marches and better protest signs will do that.

Gross says the country should heed James Madison's warning about the "tyranny of the majority." Something the Constitution was supposed to protect us from.
Of course the politicians are too busy wiping their ass with the document to bother reading it.

I cannot understand how these people get to Washington and then vote for policies that will be instrumental in the destruction of our nation, our people and our future.

treason is the only word for it
