View Thread: New milled Lancaster AK-74's?

SoundFx
Hello Folks,

Just saw these rifles on their website. I'm by no means an AK traditionalist, so the fact that there are a lot of historically incorrect aspects really doesn't bother me. My question is this - Can anyone see a reason why these guns would not be good functionally? To me, they look really great.

Lastly, I have several AK-74 kits with the original Bulgarian barrels. I know that the new Lancasters have US-made chrome lined barrels. If I (and this is doubtful) ever wore out the Lancaster barrel, do you think these milled 74's would take stamped receiver parts? In other words, did Lancaster make these receivers to accept stamped 74 kits? I'm guessing so, but I'm a noob and I didn't want to automatically assume.

Thanks in advance for any responses,

Sfx

Yes, those are sweet looking rifles, and I'm sure these Lancasters function just fine. Lancaster builds a good AK. And in the unlikely event you do have a problem, remember...Lancaster rifles have a lifetime warranty.

I don't know the answer to your second question.

I am in the market for a High quality AK-74 and noticed the milled Lancaster. I was wondering if it was built to accept a threaded barrel?

The barrels in the Atlantic milled AK74's are press & pin.

I don't see a milled Lancaster AK74 on Atlantic's website.
