Need Measurements ASAP...

but I have access to a mill tomorrow an I need the measurements of the bolt carrier removal cut outs in the receiver if anyone would be so kind as to measure theirs for me. Thanks in advance.

(Its the length, and depth of the cut and how far from the back/rear trunnion measurements that I need. The blueprints don't show anything useful.)

Sorry to ask 7.62x39 or 5.45x39.

Might have picture. Templates may have specs. Have made guns and gun use caliper to measure 7.62.39.

(Looked in armorers manual for 7.62 AKM} No specs, because up to light rivit replacement, thats IT/sort out rifle/issue another rifle. Rifle is sent back to main armory or factory repaire center. Changing barrels and reciever make-ing fit are done at the repaire center.

Will get info if I can - but I remember spec on flat templates.

It is a PSL and I tried the Romak forum already. No luck I figured the guys here might check more often.

I have a template but there are no measurements for the cut-out.

I put some pics and #'s on the thread you started.

Dosn't work because the PSL bolt carrier has 2 widely spaced rails with a huge gap between them. If I just went from the front to the back on there the cut would be all the way to the lower rails. This is why I'm looking for measurements because I'm sure you lift the rear rails out of the cut out then slide it back and lift the front. I really don't wanna guess on this one.
